Camilla Huey Studio consults for apparel, costume and home design clients, creating first samples and patterns as well as full design development services. Camilla has designed and executed couture gowns for a who’s who in entertainment and society. Camilla also designs for film, theatre, opera, ballet, advertising and editorial. Chosen as one of 12 designers worldwide, she was commissioned by Absolut to create a  vignette for the “Absolute Ephemera” calendar in 2000. Camilla was invited by Ettore Sottsass to exhibit her original textile designs with the Memphis in Memphis Exhibition at The Brooks Museum of Art. The studio is capable of producing small, high quality production. On set work includes tailoring, prop & set design.

Some publications in which her work has regularly appeared are Vogue, Italian Vogue, Bazaar and The New York Times Magazine.

Fashion clients include Calvin Klein, Donna Karan Collection, Ferragamo, L.A.M.B., Coach, MTV, Revlon, Tommy Hilfiger, Ungaro, Valentino, Vera Wang, Victoria’s Secret, Zac Posen and Zaldy among others.

Camilla has designed costumes and props for films including:
The Guru, Birdcage, Mighty Aphrodite, Batman Forever, Ice Storm,      Dead Man Walking and Devil’s Advocate.

Camilla has worked with the following photographers, Ruven Afanador, Richard Avedon, Arthur Elgort, Steven Klein, David LaChapelle, Annie Liebovitz, Peter Lindberg, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Ellen Von Unwerth, Albert Watson and Bruce Weber.
